French’s Mustard Color Theme
“The distinctive yellow ...”
So... I came across a yellow mustard bottle picture on Facebook (actually two pics). Well, this was my motivator to shoot one for myself. I’ll spin it “my way,” as the song goes.
Make the image bright, playful, fun: alright then, a yellow bottle on a yellow background.
Make the image dynamic: position the camera lower than eye level to create a unique perspective. Place the bottle at an angle from the edge and nudge it forward.
I played around with different lighting techniques. Okay, so that’s kinda subjective. There is no carved-in-stone technique here, it’s an artistic choice, but you do want the label to be well lite, no? Just answer yes, it’s all good.
In this commercial picture, it’s about colors and composition. A mustard bottle's strong yellow and red label on the bright yellow backdrop to captivate the viewer's eye and evoke feelings of joy and optimism. So, does it create the dynamic and playful mood I aimed at?
